Second and seventh-place outings in Brown County doubleheader with Tri-State Series
On Labor Day weekend, Blair Nothdurft made the haul to Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen, S.D.) for a Tri-State Series doubleheader.
With 36 Late Models signed in for Friday's opener, Nothdurft moved from sixth-to-third in his heat race and started 11th in the $3,000-to-win feature. Quickly charging to the front, Blair ran runner-up to Chad Becker in the 25-lap A-Main.
For another $3,000-to-win show on Saturday, Blair once again started the A-Main from the sixth-row but was unable to make as deep a charge with a seventh-place outing.
Blair holds a 142-point advantage atop the latest Tri-State Series point standings.
