Blair Nothdurft completes weekend sweep with Tri-State Series at Park Jefferson and Wagner Speedway
Returning to Tri-State Late Model Series competition, Blair Nothdurft unloaded his Bargain Barn Tire Center No. 76 machine at Park Jefferson (S.D.) International Speedway for the first of two nights with the series.
With 26 Late Models lined up on Friday evening, Nothdurft charged from sixth-to-second in his heat race which earned him a third-row starting spot in the feature. Blair battled inside the Top-5 for much of the 25-lap feature before making a charge to the front in the closing laps. Blair took the lead away on lap 19 and led the seven remaining circuits for the $1,586 score.
Picking up right where he left off, Nothdurft picked up the win in his heat race at Wagner (S.D.) Speedway which left him on the second-row for Saturday's A-Main. Competing in a spirited battle for the lead with Ben Sukup, Blair finally took the lead for good on lap 27. Nothdurft outran Corey Zeitner to the checkered flag and picked up his second victory of the weekend worth $1,500.
