Blair Nothdurft notches first win of 2023 season at Wagner Speedway
Taking part in a doubleheader weekend with the Repairable Vehichles.com Tri-State Late Model Series, Blair Nothdurft traveled to Wagner Speedway (Wagner, S.D.) on Friday afternoon to pilot his Bargain Barn Motorsports No. 76 Late Model.
With a runner-up showing in his heat race positioning him on the third row for the feature, Nothdurft soared ahead of pole-starting Trevor Anderson on the fifth circuit and paced the remaining 20 laps to capture his first win of the season and seventh Tri-State triumph of his career. He banked a $1,500 payday 2.860 seconds ahead of Cole Searing with Gale Vogt, Anderson, and Shane DeMey completing the top-five finishers.
On Saturday afternoon at Park Jefferson Speedway (Jefferson, S.D.), Blair raced into the $1,500-to-win A-Main with an impressive sixth-to-first run in his heat. Starting the feature in third, Nothdurft led laps 7-17 before surrendering the top spot to Cole Searing. He went onto place second in the 25-lapper, trailing Searing to the checkers with Jordan Heiman coming in third.
Nothdurft sits 36 points behind Cole Searing for the lead in the latest Repairable Vehichles.com Tri-State Late Model Series point standings.
