Drawing 21 Lucas Oil LateModel Midwest Racing Association (MLRA) entries, Blair laid down the seventh-fastest time in his group before placing fourth in his heat. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Nothdurft recorded a ninth-place finish in the 30-lapper.
For the Ron Jenkins Memorial on Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.), Nothdurft secured his spot into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place outing in his B-Main after finishing fifth in his heat. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Blair passed 13 cars in the 40-lap affair to register an eighth-place finish.
On Sunday, Blair stopped at Raceway Park (Jefferson, S.D.) to wrap up the weekend with the Repairable Vechicles.com Tri-State Series. After starting the night off with a heat race win, Nothdurft shot out to an early lead in the feature but was unable to hold off a charging Trevor Anderson. He crossed the line in third, trailing Anderson and Shane DeMey to the checkers with Nate Beyenhof and Jordan Heiman completing the Top-5 finishers.
