Nothdurft follows MLRA to Wheatland for Spring Nationals

Blair Nothdurft was back on the road with the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) on Friday evening at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the MLRA Spring Nationals. In a field of 38 cars, Blair missed a transfer spot by one position in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place third or better to make the opening night feature, Nothdurft fell one position short with a fourth-place finish. (Lloyd Collins photo)

On Saturday, Nothdurft followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a 12-lap consolation victory. Starting the $7,000-to-win A-Main in 18th, Blair improved one spot in the 40-lap affair to finish 17th.
