Sixth-place finish in Malvern Bank Series opener at I-80

With Mother Nature axing his original plans at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.), Blair Nothdurft trekked to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) on Saturday afternoon for the Malvern Bank Series season opener. With a fifth-to-third run in his heat race placing him on the pole for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Blair dropped five positions in the 25-lap affair to finish sixth.
